Why are Advance Directives so important to complete and share with family?
More than 150 million people in the United States do NOT have any formal advance directives or critical health care decision documents, (i.e., Medical Power of Attorney, Living Will, Organ Donation and Memorial Service Plans) in case of an emergency situation and they become incapacitated and cannot make decisions about their health care. Advance directives such as living wills or health care power of attorney forms specify how individuals want medical decisions to be made for them through assigned Agents, should they become unable to communicate their wishes. My Care Voice wants members to have a voice when unplanned or emergency health crises arise.
What does the My Care Voice service provide?
Members will be able to create, complete, save and share their documents securely with family, friends and even their physicians through our digital journey program. The most important factors are having the documents and being able to share them safely so members voices can be heard in unexpected health care situations and they are incapacitated.
How much is the My Care Voice service?
Our yearly subscription is $29.95. We encourage members to have the family and friends sign-up as well (members must be over the age of 18) to ensure they have their wishes defined and known.
How do I contact My Care Voice for questions or concerns?
Our member support line 833-593-2223, or you can send an email to support@mycarevoice.com
Are the My Care Voice directives legally binding documents?
My Care Voice is not a legal service and does not offer legal advice. Our documents are prepared for members to easily print and take to a Notary or their legal counsel for formalizing.
Does My Care Voice require members to complete all documents in order to save and share with others?
No, our journey allows for members to select which documents are most important to them and complete. Members can also stop at any point and then return to complete when ready.
